Let us remind you that the intoxication of Russian tourists with methanol from surrogate alcohol occurred at the “Night Yacht” excursion on May 27. There were about a hundred persons on the yacht, 21 of them sought medical attention. The first one to pass away was Maria Shalyapina of 27 years old; her 3-years old daughter was left with no mother. Next day brought more bad news. Bodrum Hospital staff recorded death of 20-years old Aygiul Zaliaeva from Bashkortostan, she was a student of Volzhsko-Kamsky Branch of Russian International Tourism Academy in Nabereznye Chelny. Aygiul came to Turkey for her undergraduate training, she worked as a guide for local incoming tour operator Odeon Tours. And then on the 1st of June in Moscow died another person – 21-years old Marina Sheveleva who has already come back home to continue her studies at Moscow State Industrial University.
