Since the beginning of
2012 the tourist flow from Russia
to Rome has grown
by 10%, compared to last year’s numbers. Antoni Gadzellone, Tourism Advisor in Rome
Administration, said that since this January the inbound tourist flow from China increased by 25%, from Brazil – by 15%, from Russia – by 10.2%. Australian tourist
flow increased by 16%, Argentinean and Japanese – by 10%, Canadian – by 7%. Yet
the tourist flows cannot compare to the one from USA. There have already been almost
one million tourists from the United
States during this year, informs Euromag.ru.
Mr. Gadzellone is sure
the numbers are a good indication that tourists are interested in Italy’s capital: “We’re on the right track, and we’ll
keep promoting Rome
as a tourist destination”.
