11:53, 17 сентября 2012

The Far East mass media vied with each other in telling about Grupa Wyszehradzka representatives’ visit to the region last week. They offered travel opportunities of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Sakhalin was especially impressed as the workshop of the countries was held for the first time. Heads of national travel offices and travel agencies of Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk met within the road-show.

The Director of Moscow office of the Polish tourism organization Andzey Serakovski, the councilor for tourism of the Hungarian Embassy Mihai Aranyoshi, the Director of the Czech consulting and analytical company Mag Consulting Yaromir Beranek, the Director of the office of National tourist management of the Czech Republic Roman Prokhazka and the representative of the Slovak Agency for tourism Andrezh Stanik explained to Far East colleagues about Grupa Wyszehradzka’s travel opportunities.

Andzey Serakovsky in conversation with RATA-news noted great interest of the Far East travel industry to Central Europe. About 60 companies visited workshops in Vladivostok where they’re held for the second time. And in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk workshops were visited by 35 heads of travel agencies, employees of the regional Ministry for sport, tourism and youth policy, professors from the Department of tourism and hotel service of SSU.

“I can’t wait when the Far East will say that they are tired from going to China”, - quotes Andzey Serakovski Sakhalin Media. The countries of Grupa Wyszehradzka yet are not popular destination among tourists of Primorye and Sakhalin, but the situation is changing. “I would note that travel agencies from Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk participated in the last two Polish-Russian forums, which are annually held in Poland, - says Mr. Serkovski. – I hope that our visit to these remote regions will increase travel agencies’ and local citizens’ interest to the travel opportunities of these four European countries”.
