Russians poisoned in Hurghada didn’t need hospitalization

08:07, 10 ноября 2011

About 50 Russian tourists staying at the Sultan Beach 4* hotel in Hurghada sought medical attention after a supposed food poisoning. They have all been diagnosed with severe stomach flu, but luckily none of them required hospitalization. Medical assistance was fully delivered on?the?spot. All the tourists were insured, so the treatment was paid for by the insurer. Many of the tourists have already came back home.

All who caught the disease were using Tez Tour as their operator. The health service was called immediately to the hotel in order to take samples of food and drink. The cause of the massive poisoning is being investigated. According to Russian diplomats, poisoning cases at Sultan Beach were registered on 31 October and also on the first two days of November.
