Ulan-Ude doubled the tourism income

According to the preliminary statistics there were 142 thousand tourists in Ulan-Ude in 2010, that is 18% more than in 2009, reported the Chief of the department of tourism development of the City Administration Maria Badmatsyrenova at the briefing in the Mayor’s Office.

88% or 125 thousand tourists are Russian citizens. The flow of foreign guests does not exceed 17 thousand persons at the moment. These tourists come from Mongolia (29%), China (18), Germany (15), USA (5), France (4), CIS countries (3).
