10% more Russians in Madrid

The importance of Russian market for Madrid is increasing year by year. In 2012, 101.9thousand tourists from Russia visited the Spanish capital, and stayed there for the total of 248.1 thousand overnights. Thus, if compared to the previous year's rates, the number of tourists increased by 9.41%, and the number of overnights – by 9.77%.

The rise in the number of Russian tourists has been marked not only in Madrid, but in other cities as well. All in all, Spain welcomed 1.2 million Russians (+40% year-on-year), reports Euromag.ru.
