This autumn an international information campaign promoting Moscow as a tourist site is about to launch. It will be run with the aid of the Moscow Committee for Tourism and Hotel Industry. Nine huge periodicals from Europe, USA, India and Japan will also take part in the project, in fine print and online. Among them are leaders of the world media: The Daily Telegraph (UK), The Washington Post (USA), Suddeutsche Zeitung (Germany), Le Figaro (France), La Reppublica (Italy), El Pais (Spain), Yomiuri (Japan), The Economic Times (India), European Voice (Belgium). Their combined circulation is more than 4 million 560 thousand copies and the combined audience amounts to 16 million 800 thousand readers.

The media partner on the Russian side will be the publishing house “Rossiiyskaya Gazeta”, which has been working on “Russia Beyond the Headlines” since 2007. The project is a series of monthly publications about Russia in leading world media.
